Number Memory Game

Objective:

Prove your memory skills by correctly guessing a sequence of numbers that appear on the screen for a brief moment. With each correct guess, the sequence gets longer, ramping up the difficulty level.

How to Play

  1. Set Display Duration:

    • Use the "Display Duration" box to set the number sequence's visibility (between 1 and 10 seconds). Choose wisely!

  2. Kick-off the Game:

    • Smash that "Start" button to begin the game.

    • A number sequence will flash on the screen for the time you set. Lock it in your memory!

  3. Memorize and Hide:

    • The sequence will disappear after the timer runs out, and it's your turn to shine.

  4. Enter Your Guess:

    • Type the sequence you remember into the input box.

    • Hit "Submit" to see if you nailed it.

  5. Game Feedback:

    • Correct Guess:

      • Boom! You got it right. The sequence length increases by one.

      • The screen will show your last correct guess and the new sequence length.

      • Get ready for the next level!

    • Incorrect Guess:

      • Oops! You missed it. Don't worry; you have one more shot.

      • If you miss again, the game resets to level 1 with a single-digit sequence.

  6. Restart Anytime:

    • Want to start fresh? Press the "Start Over" button to reset everything and return to square one.

    • The game will clear all current progress and prompt you to start again.

Game Display:

  • Number Display: This area shows the sequence of numbers to memorize.

  • Guess Box: Enter your guess here and submit it for validation.

  • Message: Feedback on your guess (correct/incorrect) and instructions for the next steps.

  • Last Correct Guess: The last sequence you guessed correctly.

  • Current Number Length: The length of the current sequence to memorize.

  • Display Duration: Set how long the number sequence is displayed before being hidden.
